Acknowledged incident
An active incident that a merchant has reviewed. Acknowledging does not stop
monitoring or mark the signal as recovered.
Active incident
An incident with Open or Acknowledged status.
Agentic referring channel
The Shopify reporting dimension used to group sessions and attributed sales
from AI-assisted commerce channels.
AI-referred orders
Aggregate Shopify orders attributed to an agentic referring channel using
last-click attribution.
AI-referred revenue
Aggregate Shopify sales value attributed to an agentic referring channel using
last-click attribution.
AI-referred sessions
Aggregate Shopify sessions grouped by the reported agentic referring channel.
Baseline
The reference value used to evaluate a change. AgentWatch anomaly detection
uses the median of the previous seven consecutive completed days.
Catalog search request
One time Shopify Global Catalog returned a product in response to a search from
an AI shopping assistant. It is not a shopper view, click, or visit.
Change impact
The comparison of a product's catalog search requests in the 14 completed days
before and after an edit. It shows correlation, not proof that the edit caused
the change. Optimize plan only.
Completed day
A calendar reporting day that has ended. AgentWatch excludes the current
partial day from daily analytics and anomaly calculations.
Critical
The highest AgentWatch severity. For traffic and catalog signals, it means a
qualified drop of at least 60%. For health checks, it means three consecutive
eligible failures.
Diagnostic packet
A sanitized text report containing incident context and aggregate evidence for
support and troubleshooting.
Global Catalog search requests
Shopify-reported search activity associated with store products in Global
Catalog. It is an exposure signal, not an ad impression or guaranteed ranking.
Health check
A read-only verification of analytics access or a machine-facing commerce
capability.
Incident
A stored record created when a qualified signal crosses an anomaly threshold
or an eligible health check fails repeatedly.
Last-click attribution
The reporting method used by Shopify for the aggregate orders and revenue shown
by AgentWatch. It assigns the result to the last qualifying referring channel.
No data
The metric was unavailable or not reported. It is different from a verified
value of zero.
Opportunity
A product with at least 20 catalog search requests in the last 30 completed
days that shows a signal worth checking, such as high demand with no AI sales
or with data gaps. Optimize plan only.
Partial job
A monitoring operation where at least one source succeeded and at least one
source failed or was unavailable. Previously good data is retained.
Readiness audit
A daily check of your active products for missing or unclear product
information, such as no description or images without alt text. It never edits
products. Optimize plan only.
Readiness score
A score from 0 to 100 given by the readiness audit, shown as Data score in
the app. Each product starts at 100
and loses 25, 10, or 3 points for each critical, warning, or minor issue.
Resolved incident
An incident closed manually or after automatic recovery criteria were met.
UCP
The machine-facing commerce protocol surface AgentWatch checks for catalog,
product, and cart capability discovery.
Warning
A condition that needs attention. For traffic and catalog signals, it means a
qualified drop of at least 30%. For health checks, it means two consecutive
eligible failures.
Weekly digest
A weekly email summary of the last 7 completed days, sent to the alert email on
every plan.
