Blum Blog Post template
Theme: Blum · Section type: Template section (Blog post template)
The Blog post template controls how a single blog post looks: the featured image, the title with author, date, and share button, and the post content with tags and links to other posts.
Note: The template comes with a Breadcrumb section and the Blog post details section. You can hide the Blog post details section, but you can't remove it. The section holds 1 Featured image, 1 Blog title, and 1 Content block, plus app blocks.

What you can do
- Open the Blog post template
- Show or hide the author, date, and share button
- Change the text size and the order of the blocks

- Fix common problems
Open the Blog post template
- In the theme editor, open the template menu at the top and select Blog posts.
- Optional: click Change in the preview bar to preview another post.
- In the left sidebar, click the Blog post details section.
The text, featured image, and tags come from the blog post itself. You edit them in your Shopify admin, not in the theme editor.
Show or hide the author, date, and share button
- Under Blog post details, click the Blog title block.
- Turn on or off Show author, Show date, and Enable share.
- Click Save.
Tip: When customers share a post, social media shows the post's featured image as the preview image. Add a featured image to every post.
Change the text size and the order of the blocks
- Click the Blog post details section.
- Under General, drag Blog post text size to set the size of the post text, from 18 px to 22 px.
- To change the order, drag the Featured image, Blog title, and Content blocks in the left sidebar.
- Optional: click the Content block and turn off Show tags.
- Click Save.
What customers see
- Featured image: a wide image at the top. It shows only when the post has a featured image.
- Title: the post title, with the author and the publish date below it.
- Share button: on devices that support it, the button opens the device's share menu. Otherwise it opens a list with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, email, and a copy-link option.
- Content: the post text, followed by the post's tags. Customers click a tag to see all posts with that tag.
- Previous and Next: links to the previous and next posts in the blog appear below the content.
- Comments: when comments are turned on for the blog, the post shows existing comments and a Leave a comment form.
