# Shine Logo List

**Theme:** Shine · **Section type:** All-template section

The Logo list section shows a grid of logos, for example the brands you sell, your partners, or the press that featured you. Each logo can link to another website.

> **Note:** You can add this section to any template, but not to the header or footer. Each section holds up to 12 logos. The section comes with 6 logos.

## Add the section and your logos
1. In the theme editor, open the template where you want the section.
2. In the left sidebar, click **Add section** > **Logo list**.
3. Enter a **Section subheading**, a **Section heading**, and a **Section description**, and choose a **Heading size**.
4. Click a **Logo** block and select a **Logo image**.
5. Optional: add a **Link**, for example the brand's website.
6. To add more logos, click **Add block** > **Logo**.
7. Click **Save**.

> **Tip:** Use PNG logos with a transparent background, all about the same size (240 × 100 px is recommended). Logos of different shapes look uneven in the grid.

## Choose how many logos show per row
1. Click the **Logo list** section.
2. Under **Large screen**, set **Columns per row** to **3**, **4**, or **5**, and set **Section heading alignment** to **Left** or **Center**.
3. Under **Mobile screen**, set **Columns per row** to **1** or **2**, and set **Section heading alignment**.
4. Click **Save**.

> **Tip:** Pick a number of logos that fills your rows, for example 8 logos with 4 columns. A last row with only 1 or 2 logos looks unfinished.

## What customers see
- **The grid:** the logos show centered in rows, with the number of columns you chose for large screens and for mobile.
- **Links:** if a logo has a link, customers click it to open that page in a new browser tab. Logos without a link can't be clicked.

## Settings reference
### General
| Setting | What it does |
| ---- | ---- |
| Color scheme | Sets the section colors. Color schemes are set in Theme settings > Colors. |
| Section subheading | Adds a short line above the heading. |
| Section heading | Adds the section heading. To highlight words, put them between [ and ] and choose the style in Theme settings > Typography. |
| Heading size | Sets the heading size: H2, H3, H4, or H5. |
| Section description | Adds a short text below the heading. |

### Large screen
| Setting | What it does |
| ---- | ---- |
| Section heading alignment | Aligns the section heading Left or Center. |
| Columns per row | Shows 3, 4, or 5 logos per row. |

### Mobile screen
| Setting | What it does |
| ---- | ---- |
| Section heading alignment | Aligns the section heading Left or Center on mobile. |
| Columns per row | Shows 1 or 2 logos per row on mobile. |

### Logo block
| Setting | What it does |
| ---- | ---- |
| Logo image | Sets the logo. A 240 × 100 px PNG is recommended. |
| Link | Opens this page in a new tab when customers click the logo. |

## Troubleshooting
**I can't add another logo.**
Each section holds up to 12 logos. Add a second Logo list section for more.

**My logos look different sizes.**
The grid shows each image at its own shape. Export all logos at the same size, with the same empty space around them.

**There is an empty space in the grid.**
One Logo block has no image. Select a **Logo image** or remove the block.
