# Electro How to Create Electro Collection List Page

**Theme:** Electro · **Section type:** Collection list template

The Collection list template controls the page that shows all of your store's collections (/collections). Customers use it to browse every category in one place.

> **Note:** The Collection list template has 1 fixed section: **Collection list page**. You can hide it, but you can't remove it. You can add, remove, and reorder any other section on this template.

## Open the Collection list template
1. In the theme editor, open the page selector at the top of the screen.
2. Click **Collections list**.
3. In the left sidebar, click **Collection list page**.

## Set up the collection grid
1. Under **General**, enter a **Heading** and choose a **Heading size**.
2. Under **Layout**, choose **Items per page**: 12, 24, or 36. Pagination appears when you have more collections than this.
3. Set **Items per row on large screen** and **Items per row on mobile**.
4. Choose a **Content alignment** for the heading: Left or Center.
5. Click **Save**.

## Change how the collection cards look
The collection cards share their look with every Collection list section in the store.

1. In the theme editor, click **Theme settings** > **Collection card**.
2. Change the **Style**, **Overlay opacity**, **Card color scheme**, **Image ratio**, or **Show product quantity**.
3. Click **Save**.

> **Tip:** Use the same image ratio for all your collection images, and set **Image ratio** to match. Cards then line up without awkward cropping.

## What customers see
- **Collection cards:** every collection in the store appears as a card with its image and name. Customers click a card to open the collection.
- **Badges:** collections with a prominent badge show it in the top corner of the card.
- **Pagination:** page numbers appear under the grid when there are more collections than **Items per page**.
- **Mobile:** cards show 1 or 2 per row, based on **Items per row on mobile**.

## Settings reference
### General
| Setting | What it does |
| ---- | ---- |
| Color scheme | Sets the colors of the section. Edit schemes in Theme settings > Colors. |
| Heading | Sets the page heading. |
| Heading size | Sets the heading size: Headline, H1, H2, or H3. |

### Layout
| Setting | What it does |
| ---- | ---- |
| Items per page | Shows 12, 24, or 36 collections on each page. |
| Items per row on large screen | Shows 3, 4, 5, or 6 cards per row on desktops, laptops, and tablets. |
| Items per row on mobile | Shows 1 or 2 cards per row. |
| Content alignment | Aligns the heading to the Left or Center. |

## Troubleshooting
**A collection is missing from the page.**
The page lists the collections that are available on your Online Store sales channel. In the Shopify admin, open the collection and check that it's published to the Online Store.

**The card style or image ratio isn't in the section settings.**
These settings are in **Theme settings** > **Collection card**. They apply to every collection card in the store.
