# Blum Page template

**Theme:** Blum · **Section type:** Template section (Page template)

The Page template is the default layout for pages you create in your Shopify admin, such as About, Shipping, or Size guide pages. It shows the page title and the content you wrote for the page, and you can add any other sections around it.

> **Note:** The template comes with a Breadcrumb section and the Page section. You can hide the Page section, but you can't remove it.

**What you can do**

- Set up the Page section
- Add more sections to the page
- See what customers see
- Look up every setting
- Fix common problems

---

## Write the page content

1. In your Shopify admin, go to **Online Store** > **Pages**.
2. Click **Add page**, or click an existing page.
3. Enter a **Title** and the page **Content**.
4. Under **Theme template**, select **Default page**.
5. Click **Save**.

## Set up the Page section

1. In the theme editor, open the template menu at the top and select **Pages** > **Default page**.
2. Click the **Page** section.
3. Under **General**, select a **Color scheme**.
4. Turn on or off **Show page title**.
5. Click **Save**.

The text styles of the page content follow your theme settings, so headings and paragraphs look the same as on the rest of your store.

## Add more sections to the page

1. In the left sidebar, click **Add section**.
2. Select any section, for example **Image banner** or **Collapsible content**.
3. Drag the section above or below the **Page** section.
4. Click **Save**.

> **Caution:** Sections you add to the Default page template appear on every page that uses this template. To add sections to only one page, create a new page template and assign it to that page.

## What customers see

- **Title:** the page title appears centered at the top when **Show page title** is on.
- **Content:** the text, images, and tables from the page editor appear below the title in a centered column.
- **Phones:** the content uses the full screen width, and long tables may wrap.

| ---- | ---- |
| Color scheme | Sets the colors of the section. You can edit color schemes in Theme settings > Colors. |
| Show page title | Shows the page title above the content. |

### Layout

| Setting | What it does |
| ---- | ---- |
| Remove padding top | Removes the space above the section. |

## Troubleshooting

**My changes in the theme editor appear on other pages too.**
All pages that use the same template share its sections and settings. Create a new template for the page and assign it under **Theme template** in your Shopify admin.

**The page title appears twice.**
Your page content also starts with the title. Turn off **Show page title**, or remove the title from the page content.

**I can't edit the page text in the theme editor.**
The text comes from the page in your Shopify admin. Edit it in **Online Store** > **Pages**.
